I spent so much time on this one it's crazy. in fact, it's probably long enough and polished enough that if I wanted to just end it where it is I'm sure nobody would complain. it doesn't say it, but spacebar shoots a block. If you're in the air, it drops a block. dl.dropbox.com/u/17855358/Pio.sim

Wow! I though Oofoe 3 was impressive. This thing takes the cake on Stagecast Platformers.
The graphics are BEAUTIFUL. The animations are extremely smooth; I guess that's more to say, there ARE animations. Like when Pio kicks when he's in the water and you can see him turning around, too. My favorite part is the awesome little flipping thing he does when he jumps. It looks great when he's jumping on enemies and strawberries one after another. It's incredibly fun, too.
The gameplay is really solid, and you even have a cool menu for checking how much gold you have. I like the little animation on that menu, too. A LOT of things have animations...
And you said Oofoe was your flagship series. XD Seriously, the work you've done on this is incredible. Was it tough getting the mechanics for the jumps to work well?

Well, I managed to finish it up to the Well, which appears to be when the demo ends. Awesome game! Just a few notes. 1. I found a bug. If a Green hits you to the left on top of a tree so that you will run into the tree, Pio stops moving. Here's a screenie for reference: Pio gets stuck that way and she can't move. D: 2. Also, the music never played for me. I couldn't find a way to turn it on. After looking at the rules for the little musical note, It looked like it just didn't have any rules for actually PLAYING the music, so that might be why. 3. You used Mario Paint Composer. X3 Good choice, good choice.
