Make sure that any game you post follows these rules. If a game is in violation of these rules, you risk having it removed from the site!
(NOTE: At current, games can be no larger than 1 MB (1,024 KB). This is because Proboards doesn't want people making lots of sites and abusing the storage space. If you have a game larger than that, use a mass storage site like MediaFire or DropBox.)
1. If your game contains elements in it that are not suitable for children (Rated PG-13, T for Teen, Etc.), you MUST mark this in the topic title for instance, this would be a good way to do it:
2. If your game contains any explicit sexual content, we don't want it here. Not only does that directly break the forum's third rule, but it's probably gonna suck anyway (Stagecast porn? What's the point?).
I don't have much of a basis to work with here, so hopefully nothing bad happens before I realize I should have a new rule.
Aside from the above requirements, here are a few guidelines:
- It's recommended that you "tag" your topic's title to help people find what they're looking for. For instance, if your game is an RPG, try making the topic title like so:
This will help users find games of certain genres when using the Search function. This isn't a requirement, though.
- It's good to include a lot of organized information in your topic's post. For instance, post the basic style of play, post about known bugs in your game, etc.
- Screenshots are highly recommended for completed games! You can capture a screen shot using the program itself. You can either upload it to a photo hosting site such as imageshack or photobucket, or you could simply attach the image to your post.
Please let me know about any rules that should be here. :3
